Church at Briargate
As part of the Assemblies of God, Church at Briargate has a rich heritage in mission programs. Our commitment to missions within our own local community and throughout the world is an important core value that we hold very dear.
We currently provide monthly support to more than 17 world missions directly, and countless more through the Assemblies of God World Mission Program.
Harvest Field Corners
Church at Briargate has a strategic and very personal alliance with Harvest Field Corners. The President of Harvest Field Corners, Jerry Tuttle, attends our church and he has taken several members of our church on short-term trips.
The Mission of HFC is to implement Microenterprise Development [MED] endeavors using Biblical Stewardship principles. Currently HFC has a several year history of successfully implementing income generation projects in the economically depressed areas of S/E Asia. Most USA [MED] organizations are top down operations similar to a franchise business. They identify needy places to implement specific MED programs that they have the funds for or for which they are presently raising funds. HFC chooses to operate from a bottom up posture, selecting foreign based organizations to establish a MED implementation relationship with. This unique grass roots type of MED implementation activity reduces many overhead expenses, striving to maximize every dollar contributed, involving USA volunteers with business experience.
