Happenings

Women play an important and vital role within our church. Throughout history, women have shown wisdom and courage, and God has given them great honor.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her." (Proverbs 31: 25-28 NIV)

Our Women's Ministry reaches women with the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ. We encourage women to follow Christ's example and lives of wholeness and balance - spiritually and mentally - through consistent prayer and Bible study.

We provide an atmosphere for women to develop spiritual gifts and lasting relationships. Finally, we encourage women to find places of ministry and impact the world for Christ.

One A Week is a current project of our Women's Ministry. In conjunction with the Rocky Mountain District of the Assemblies of God, our Women's ministry is focused on supporting missionaries around the world. Through this program, we will provide more than 1/2 Million Dollars this year for:

- furnishings for missionary homes
- reserve funds for emergency needs of missionaries
- new church plants
- Christmas checks for missionaries

Additionally, we continually support many special projects that help our Missionaries
around the globe know, "We are with you; you can count on our support!"

Women's Ministries—Unlimited! More than you imagined

Our world is changing rapidly, and so are the needs of women. We as Christians must be relevant to those we want to reach. Women's Ministries—Unlimited! emphasizes the unlimited opportunities open to women for ministry in their local churches and communities. Every woman should be ministered to according to her need, and every born-again woman should be encouraged to find her place of ministry within the body of Christ. More.
